Ok, so the whiskey is named after
the ship
which was named after the "garment" worn by a fictional Scottish witch
from a Robert Burns poem, and it translates basically to "short [cutty] (under)shirt [sark]".
For those of you seeing this on LiveJournal, there are probably a bunch of inexplicable gaps. Those were pictures.
Or, apparently, you won't see it at all, because it never forwarded to LJ the way it was supposed to. Alas.
