Today I learned that there are no Michelin-starred restaurants in all of New England except for Boston. That seems a little unfair, somehow. None in Connecticut. None in Rhode Island, either, which, ok, there aren't as many restaurants period, but Providence is supposed to be much more happening these days! Surely there's something there worthy? Nothing in New Hampshire, nothing in Vermont, nothing even in Portland (Maine)! Just a big ol' chunk of not-so-fine-dining between Boston, Montreal, and NYC.
